Journey Beyond’s Vintage Rail Journeys has released its 2027 brochure and full program, introducing a new Sydney Harbour cruise included with every departure ahead of its heritage rail journeys through regional New South Wales.
The enhanced offering features three five-day itineraries and special event departures aboard the restored Southern Aurora train, with bookings now open for the 2027 season.
New inclusions enhance heritage rail experience
For the first time, all 2027 departures will begin with a Sydney Harbour morning discovery cruise before guests board the train.
The all-inclusive rail holidays include accommodation onboard, meals, beverages and off-train touring, with the train travelling during the day and remaining stationary overnight to maximise sightseeing opportunities.
Three regional rail tours return
The 2027 program includes the Riverina Rail Tour, North Coast Rail Tour and Golden West Rail Tour, each showcasing regional New South Wales through curated off-train experiences including food and wine tastings, river cruises, heritage attractions and local guided tours.
The season also features the return of the Bathurst Race’N Rail package, combining heritage rail travel with reserved grandstand seating at the Repco Bathurst 1000.
