Virgin Australia has never disappointed in keeping things upbeat, and dealing with the COVID-19 shutdowns and restrictions has been no different for a group of staff in Queensland.
Some of the Virgin Australia ground staff have performed a ‘Don’t Stop Believin’ flashdance, to farewell the airline’s final international flight before Virgin Australia international services are temporarily suspended.
In the video, which has been shared across social media outlets, staff can be seen dancing on the tarmac, and in the airport terminal, as the aircraft for flight VA153 to Auckland is pushing-back.
The performance follows a video shared to social media of Virgin Australia team members doing ‘The Nutbush’ at Sydney Airport on Friday, alongside REX and Qantas Group staff. The video has since attracted thousands of comments, likes and shares from people all over the world.
Virgin Australia has temporarily suspended all of its international flights as of 30 March 2020) until 14 June 2020, following increased travel restrictions and reduced travel demand in the wake of the COVID-19 crisis.
