Vosaio Travel Group rebrands following Operation Europe acquisition

Vosaio Travel Group has announced a strategic rebranding in Australia and New Zealand, operating under the well-established Operation Europe brand following its acquisition of the specialist tour operator on 30 October 2024.

The move combines the strengths of both organisations, enhancing group travel services across the region while maintaining the high-quality, personalised approach that Operation Europe is known for.

Strengthening group travel services

By uniting the two brands, Vosaio Travel Group aims to provide B2B group travel partners with improved service delivery, competitive pricing, and an expanded portfolio of tailored itineraries. The transition ensures seamless travel experiences across various travel segments, including:

  • special interest tours
  • pre and post-cruise itineraries
  • bespoke group shore excursions
  • sports and educational tours
  • MICE and larger corporate travel groups

Carly Allen, based in Australia, and Sofia Rodriguez Rytkonen, based in New Zealand, will lead market support efforts, offering a dedicated and personalised approach to tour operator and wholesale partners.

Innovation and continuity

Operation Europe has built a strong reputation over 36 years, known for its detail-oriented itinerary planning and high-touch service delivery. The transition will be supported by Vosaio Travel Group’s innovative technology, including a tour guide app and bespoke operating system, aimed at improving efficiency and enhancing the overall client experience.

“We are thrilled to combine the strength of both Vosaio Travel Group and Operation Europe to create an even stronger proposition in Australia and New Zealand,” said Martin Knuepfer, CEO of Vosaio Travel Group.

Tom Barrett and Jeremy Hawes, founders of Operation Europe, will continue to play an active role in the business, ensuring continuity in relationships and service delivery.

“This acquisition marks a new chapter for us as we embark on a journey filled with enhanced resources and opportunities to elevate travel experiences for our valued customers,” they said.

Looking ahead

The rebranding reflects Vosaio Travel Group and Operation Europe’s shared vision of delivering premium group travel services, ensuring the business is well-positioned to meet the evolving needs of the industry.
