Culinary stars align at Hawai‘i Food & Wine Festival

Running from 17 October to 2 November 2025 across three islands, the Hawai‘i Food & Wine Festival celebrates the state’s rich culinary culture and local produce. Co-founded by chefs Roy Yamaguchi and Alan Wong, the event features world-class dining experiences and has raised nearly US$5 million for local charities since its inception.

MauiWine launches walking tour and tasting

MauiWine’s new Historic Grounds Walking Tour & Tasting offers a deep dive into the Ulupalakua estate’s 19th-century origins. Visitors can explore the gardens and historic structures of Rose Ranch before sampling a curated wine flight at the King’s Cottage tasting room.

Stay inside Hawai‘i Volcanoes National Park

Jurassic ocean creatures at Bishop Museum

Opening 24 May 2025, the Bishop Museum’s new exhibition, Expedition Dinosaur: Into the Deep, brings prehistoric marine reptiles to life through state-of-the-art animatronics. Spanning more than 650 square metres, the exhibit runs through 25 January 2026 and links the ancient oceanic world with Hawai‘i’s modern marine environment.

Pride of America returns with fresh upgrades

Norwegian Cruise Line’s Pride of America will undergo a refresh from 3–31 May 2025. Highlights include a new Starbucks in The Capitol Atrium, a pickleball court, and 12 new Club Balcony Suites. The ship also features a reimagined Library, Card Room, and relocated youth and teen clubs. It resumes its weekly inter-island cruises from Honolulu on 31 May.
