Whistler Blackcomb has confirmed 20 November 2026 as its target opening date for the 2026/2027 Northern Hemisphere winter season, alongside a new lift upgrade and current Epic Australia Pass holders receiving 10 days of access to the resort.
Pass holders gain access and on-mountain savings

Current 2026 Epic Australia Pass holders will receive 10 days of combined access to Whistler Blackcomb for the coming winter season, in addition to unlimited access to Perisher, Falls Creek and Hotham this Australian season. The 2027 Southern Hemisphere Epic Australia Pass is on sale now at its lowest price of the year, priced at $1,099 for adults and $624 for children, and also includes 10 days of Whistler Blackcomb access for the 2027/2028 Northern Hemisphere season.
Epic Australia Pass holders receive 20 per cent off on-mountain dining, lodging, ski and ride school, equipment rentals and select adventures including heli-skiing at Whistler Blackcomb.
Lift and dining upgrades add to mountain product
The Showcase T-Bar on Blackcomb Mountain is being replaced with a new quad chairlift, improving access to Horstman Glacier and Blackcomb Glacier terrain. Dining upgrades include the return of breakfast service at Dusty’s, a renovated Pika’s at Roundhouse with a new coffee bar, and enhanced outdoor patio experiences at Steeps Grill & Wine Bar and Christine’s on Blackcomb.
For agents selling ski holidays, Air Canada and Qantas both operate direct flights from Australia to Vancouver, with Whistler a 1.5-hour transfer from the airport via the Sea to Sky Highway, giving advisors a straightforward connectivity story alongside the pass value proposition for clients booking early for the 2026/2027 or 2027/2028 seasons.
