Adventure World has released last-minute booking options for Christmas 2026 travel to Vietnam, Sri Lanka and Cambodia, positioning the destinations as available alternatives for Australians who haven’t yet locked in a festive itinerary.
Vietnam pairs city festivities with beach extension
The 10-day A Taste of Vietnam itinerary, priced from $1,869 per person, combines Ho Chi Minh City’s festive atmosphere with an optional extension to Ho Tram, a beach destination three hours from the city offering warm, dry weather in December.
Adventure World product manager Asia Eric Findlay said the three destinations each offered a distinct festive experience.
“Vietnam, Sri Lanka, and Cambodia each offer something completely different at this time of year – whether that’s combining the festive atmosphere of Ho Chi Minh City with a few days on the beach, travelling through Sri Lanka’s beautiful tea country, or exploring the temples of Angkor,” Findlay said.
Sri Lanka and Cambodia itineraries include coast and temple options
The 16-day Authentic Sri Lanka itinerary, priced from $4,819 per person, includes the hill-country railway through tea estates and wildlife safaris, with travellers able to time the itinerary to spend Christmas Day either in the highlands around Ella and Nuwara Eliya or on the coast.
The five-day Authentic Siem Reap itinerary, priced from $2,445 per person, covers Angkor Wat and Beng Mealea, alongside Siem Reap’s boutique resorts, markets and dining.
