Airnorth has announced a new non-stop flight route connecting Cairns and Alice Springs, set to launch on 14 April 2025. The service will operate three times per week on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, providing an additional 30,000 seats annually between the two destinations.

The new route is expected to enhance accessibility for FIFO workers, domestic travellers, and international visitors, making it easier to experience both the Great Barrier Reef and the Red Centre in one seamless journey.
Flights will be operated on Airnorth’s modern Embraer E190 jet, offering a comfortable and efficient travel experience.
