Alan Joyce is keen as mustard to have international flights back in the sky, and passengers lining up to travel, and to further his objectives the Qantas CEO is offering an incentive for Aussies to get vaccinated.
Mr Joyce has said the scheme, which will launch in July 2021, will offer 1,000 Qantas points, flight vouchers, discounts and other credits and 10 major prizes giving a family of four unlimited travel anywhere on the Qantas and Jetstar network. Additionally, Accor will donate 1 million points to each of the winning families for accommodation.
Mr Joyce said the incentives would be offered through the company’s app, and would apply to anyone who has already had the vaccine or gets it before the end of the year.
“We are trying our best to help with this rollout.
“I’m encouraging a Team Australia moment where every corporate out there helps with this vaccine rollout and to reward people that have had the vaccine.”
