Celestyal strengthens ties with Abu Dhabi through partnership

Celestyal has entered into a three-year agreement with the Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi (DCT Abu Dhabi), enhancing its commitment to the Arabian Gulf region.

This partnership will see Celestyal operating two ships in the area, with Abu Dhabi serving as a key port of call. The cruise line plans to make three weekly visits to Abu Dhabi during the winter seasons, starting December 2025 and continuing through March 2026.​

Diverse itineraries and shore excursions

The 1,360-passenger Celestyal Discovery will homeport in Abu Dhabi from December 12, 2025, offering a range of cruises:​

  • Three-night weekend sailings visiting Dubai and Sir Bani Yas Island
  • Four-night midweek cruises calling at Doha, Ras Al Khaimah, and Khasab
  • Seven-night ‘Iconic Arabia’ voyages exploring multiple destinations​

Passengers can choose from nine curated shore excursions in Abu Dhabi, including cultural tours, desert safaris, beach experiences, and visits to local attractions.​
