The Chilean Tourism Board will return to Australia next month for its first travel trade roadshow since 2019, reconnecting with local travel advisors through events in Melbourne and Sydney.
The roadshow marks Chile’s renewed commitment to the Australian market, with a delegation of 14 tourism companies travelling to Australia to showcase the destination’s latest products, experiences and itineraries.
Rebuilding trade connections
Hosted by the Chilean Tourism Board, the complimentary evening events will give retail travel advisors the opportunity to meet Chilean suppliers, learn about new tourism offerings and strengthen their destination knowledge.
National Director of SERNATUR, Chile’s National Government Agency for Tourism, Cristóbal Benítez, will join the delegation during the Australian visit.
“Australia remains an important long-haul market for Chile, and these events provide an excellent opportunity to strengthen partnerships, share what’s new across the destination and give travel advisors the knowledge and confidence to sell Chile to their clients,” Benítez said.
Showcasing Chile’s diverse tourism offering
The roadshow will highlight Chile’s diverse tourism experiences, from Patagonia and the Atacama Desert to its renowned wine regions, cities and cultural attractions.
Guests will also enjoy Chilean food and wine, destination presentations and networking opportunities, with prizes including LATAM return flights to Chile, accommodation and travel experiences.
The Melbourne event will be held at Pullman Melbourne on the Park on 11 August, followed by Sydney at Pier One Sydney Harbour on 13 August. Attendance is complimentary for retail travel advisors, with registrations required.
