Destination Canada Australia has opened registrations for its Together for Impact Virtual Summit, a 90-minute live online event on Thursday 5 November focused on regenerative tourism and Canada sales strategy for Australian travel advisors.
Strategic Advisory Group members lead sessions

The summit is hosted by Destination Canada Australia’s Strategic Advisory Group, comprising senior travel industry figures including Flight Centre global partnerships leader Tim Holden, Intrepid Travel managing director Brett Mitchell, Adventure World managing director Neil Rodgers, APT chief operations officer Mladen Vukic, and Helloworld Travel group general manager marketing Melissa Warren, among others. Holden will serve as MC.
Holden said the sessions would connect regenerative tourism principles to practical sales outcomes.
“The summit will provide an opportunity to explore how a regenerative approach to travel can translate into stronger client conversations, new product ideas, higher-value bookings and more opportunities to sell Canada,” Holden said.
Destination Canada Australia managing director Julie King said the summit was designed to bring the Australian trade into a broader conversation about tourism’s community impact.
“At its heart, the summit is about how we shape a future where tourism contributes to the wealth and wellbeing of communities, and creates positive impact for the places people visit,” King said.
Attendees eligible for 2027 famil place
Sessions will cover Indigenous tourism experiences, regional journeys, and winter and shoulder-season travel. Live attendees will have access to an on-demand content library, practical client-facing resources, and the chance to earn a place on a 2027 Canadian famil, with terms and conditions applying. Attendees will also be able to learn about the Destination Canada Partnership Pledge, an initiative supporting a regenerative approach to tourism growth.
