Already an iconic destination in its own right, New York State is also the home of several key filming locations for Apple’s “Severance”. Visitors wanting to gain access to a behind the scenes look at key filming locations may like to visit the state, including the locations below.
Dutchess and Rockland Counties (Hudson Valley)
Beacon, NY, is the inspiration behind Lumon’s hometown of Kier. Beyond this association, the city of Beacon is known for rich culinary and artistic scenes, as well as plenty of local shopping opportunities. Travellers with an eye for art may also enjoy visiting the Dia Beacon Museum to appreciate the wealth of contemporary artwork that the former factory houses. White Plains also has several shopping, dining, and entertainment opportunities. Those wanting to experience more art and history may want to check out Yonkers, specifically the Hudson River Museum. While the Perpetuity Wing of the museum is featured in a field trip scene of the show, the museum itself also has a planetarium and beautiful Hudson River views. The nearby Untermyer Park & Gardens are the perfect place to take a stroll before heading to The Bier House in Thornwood to see Devon’s residence in person.
