Lomani Spa opens in Fiji’s Mamanuca Islands

Lomani Island Resort & Spa has officially unveiled its newest addition — the custom-built Lomani Spa — a serene wellness sanctuary set within the lush jungle of Malolo Lailai Island.

Designed to embody the four pillars of Relax, Regenerate, Restore and Rejuvenate, the Lomani Spa blends traditional Fijian healing rituals with modern wellness techniques to create a deeply personalised experience. Surrounded by coconut palms and frangipani, the spa offers a tranquil escape for adults seeking rest and reconnection.

A new wellness benchmark in the Mamanucas

Developed in collaboration with spa expert Julie Newman and designed by Architects Pacific Fiji, the Lomani Spa is a purpose-built retreat just a short stroll from the guest bures. Facilities include a sauna, plunge pool, shaded relaxation deck, and Fiji’s first custom-built ice bath. Six treatment bures, both single and double, feature private outdoor showers and are set apart for privacy and immersion in nature.

The signature Lomani Fijian Bobo Massage and Dua Tale four-hand massage headline the treatment menu, alongside therapies using Nama Fiji — a sustainably sourced sea grape-based skincare range from the Yasawas.

“This is a proud moment for our team,” said Shelley White, General Manager of Lomani Island Resort & Spa.

“We’ve created a sanctuary that reflects the natural beauty of Fiji and offers guests peace, balance and holistic care.”

Healing that comes from the heart

Lomani’s approach to wellness is grounded in Fijian culture, with spa therapist Luisa Nuku Seruitukana continuing her family’s legacy of traditional healing. “At Lomani, we become one family. That energy carries into every treatment we give,” she said.

The spa is designed to be more than a treatment space — it’s a place for guests to be nurtured, moved, and reminded of the restorative power of stillness.

Lomani Island Resort & Spa is an adults-only retreat offering beachfront bures, gourmet dining, and ocean adventures in one of Fiji’s most picturesque island settings.
