Lufthansa has officially reopened its First Class Lounge in Terminal 2 at Munich Airport, offering premium travellers a refined and luxurious experience in one of Europe’s most important aviation hubs.
Now open daily from 5:00am to 10:00pm, the redesigned space spans approximately 1,000 square metres and features a timeless aesthetic, enhanced comfort, and a host of exclusive amenities designed to elevate the airport experience for Lufthansa’s First Class guests.
Refined design and elevated comfort
The updated First Class Lounge features a new interior concept focused on timeless elegance and sophisticated design. Highlights include quiet retreats for relaxation, spacious seating areas, and well-equipped workstations with printers and photocopiers to accommodate business travellers.
Guests can also unwind in dedicated TV zones or browse a wide range of international newspapers and magazines.
Gourmet dining and exclusive service
A standout feature of the lounge is the reimagined culinary area, which includes an à la carte restaurant, a front-cooking buffet, and a redesigned bar serving premium beverages. The variety of food and drink options offers First Class travellers a premium gastronomic experience before take-off.
Part of Lufthansa’s premium expansion in Munich
The reopening of the First Class Lounge is part of Lufthansa’s broader premium strategy at Munich Airport. This includes a renovated First Class check-in area and the launch of the airline’s new Allegris First Class product onboard the Airbus A350-900.
During the summer schedule, Allegris First Class will operate from Munich to key destinations including Chicago, San Francisco, San Diego, Shanghai and Bengaluru. The aircraft’s cutting-edge cabin features two exclusive suites and the spacious Suite Plus, setting new global standards for in-flight luxury.
