Tourism New Zealand offers Wellington famil for course completion

Tourism New Zealand is offering Australian travel sellers the chance to win a foodie escape to Wellington by completing the Cuisine advanced course within its 100% Pure New Zealand Specialist Programme, with entries closing 6 September 2026.

Winner gets flights, accommodation and curated food itinerary

The prize includes return direct flights from any eligible Australian gateway to Wellington, two nights’ accommodation at James Cook Hotel Grand Chancellor, and $250 NZD in digital Prezzy Card spending money for one winner and a travel companion. The itinerary includes a ride on the Wellington Cable Car, a Te Papa Tongarewa highlights tour and high tea or a Wētā Workshop experience, a Martinborough winery tour on the Classic New Zealand Wine Trail with Zozo Travel, a Capital Bites tour with The Big Foody, a Zealandia by Night tour, and a Garage Project beer workshop, subject to availability.

To enter, advisors must complete the Cuisine advanced course during the promotion period, running 17 August to 6 September 2026, and submit the entry form sent upon course completion. Advisors who completed the course before the promotion began can retake the course test during the promotion window to validate their entry. The prize must be redeemed between 21 September 2026 and 30 April 2027, with a blackout period from 1 December 2026 to 31 January 2027.

Program supports advisor destination knowledge

For advisors selling New Zealand product, the incentive gives a direct reason to complete or refresh training on Wellington’s food and beverage offering, alongside a tangible reward tied to genuine product knowledge rather than sales volume alone. Tourism New Zealand also offers a separate Explore New Zealand Discount Programme for advisors wanting to design their own self-famil itinerary at trade rates.
