Virgin Australia has been named Australia’s Most Trusted Travel & Tourism Brand in the 2026 Roy Morgan Trusted Brand Awards, marking the fourth consecutive year the airline has received the recognition.
Award based on extensive consumer research

Roy Morgan’s Trusted Brand Awards draw on annual surveys of thousands of Australian consumers, measuring trust across multiple industries and identifying organisations with the strongest customer relationships. The awards recognise brands demonstrating consistently high levels of trust and low levels of distrust, producing a strong Net Trust Score.
Michele Levine, Roy Morgan’s chief executive, said Virgin Australia’s trust is built on specific consumer feedback themes. “Virgin Australia’s high level of trust is built upon ‘Quality of service, value for money, consistency and reliability’, ‘Great staff and honest when something goes wrong’, and ‘Their safety record and management of passengers when flights are delayed’,” Levine said.
Recognition reflects consistency across guest experience

Andrew Cleary, Virgin Australia’s chief customer officer, said the recognition reflects the airline’s focus on reliability and guest experience. “Trust is something that is earned every day, through the small moments that make a difference to our guests, the consistency of the experience we provide and the way our people show up for them,” Cleary said, crediting the airline’s 8,000 team members for the result.
For agents and corporate travel buyers selecting domestic airline partners, the consistent recognition adds a data point on customer trust and service reliability when comparing carriers, alongside Virgin Australia’s existing sponsorship commitments to industry events including ATIA’s Beyond Borders summit and the NTIA Gala.
