Visit Sunshine Coast has launched the latest phase of its Sunshine Moments campaign, running from 27 August to 27 October, with an expanded focus on the Sydney market to drive spring and early summer visitation.
Sydney media buy adds CBD out-of-home presence

The campaign is live across Queensland, Sydney and Melbourne, with an expanded Sydney media buy including roadside billboards and placements across train and bus stations, alongside YouTube, TikTok and digital display activity. A content partnership with Linkby will place Sunshine Coast articles across more than 30 publishers, including 7News, Daily Mail, Gourmet Traveller, Concrete Playground, Sitchu and The Australian Women’s Weekly, with additional evergreen content running across Are Media’s publisher network.
Matt Stoeckel, Visit Sunshine Coast’s chief executive, said the campaign is designed to convert inspiration into bookings. “Importantly, we’re making it easy to turn that inspiration into a holiday, with great deals from our local operators and new itineraries that take the guesswork out of planning a trip,” Stoeckel said.
Campaign content spans beach, nature and family breaks

This phase of Sunshine Moments centres on beach escapes, nature-based experiences and family holidays, with the campaign landing page featuring deals from Sunshine Coast tourism operators alongside new itineraries covering accommodation, activities and dining.
For tourism operators and agents selling Sunshine Coast product, the expanded Sydney media presence and multi-publisher content partnership signal a concrete push to lift interstate visitation over the coming two months, with bookable deals and itineraries hosted on the campaign landing page giving advisors a ready reference for client packages.
